Safeguarding Fact Sheets and E-Safety Advice for Parents (including Gaming Advice)

Do you know how safe your child is when online at home? Are the games your child is playing safe and suitable?

Below are several factsheets to help you answer some of the safeguarding online questions you may have.

These will be useful to help parents understand the dangers hiding within the many games that children play online, how to block strangers and make sure settings create a safe environment.

Whether you have older children at home of Junior or Secondary age, or  a child at the Infants,  there will be a factsheet to help you understand the risks. There are factsheets covering screen time, how to stay safe online when using social media  and they  cover a range of games that children play both when young and as they grow older e.g. Minecraft, Fortnite etc

There is also a fact sheet providing help and support details for families experiencing Mental Health, Domestic Abuse, Alcohol, Drugs or gambling issues and shortages of food.

Please contact the school if you need further support with any of the areas covered in the factsheets.
