Heart of Priory
We are excited to tell you about some work that has been going on behind the scenes with a fantastic company called Keystone Marketing. Dylan in Kestrels has been kind enough to lend us his clever Mum and her fabulous company who have been working with us to help us get our 'Priory message' out to the wider community. They have designed us a fantastic image called 'The heart of Priory' which you will hopefully be seeing on more of our communications with you. In addition to this, the children have been busily telling us about all the things they love about our school and we will be displaying their work in and around the school - it may even get into the local paper if we are very lucky! Please keep your eyes peeled for more of this to come. A special thank you to Hayley and her team at Keystone Marketing for their hard work.

Local Infant School in St Neots launches ‘The Heart of Priory’ campaign
Priory Park Infant School showcases unique campaign to demonstrate community impact
With recent Ofsted success and many of its children living locally, Priory Park Infant School and Playgroup is a very important part of the St Neots community – and its leadership team wanted to demonstrate its central role with a dedicated campaign.
Established in 1952, and often described by its families as ‘one of St Neots best kept secrets’, a unique campaign called ‘The Heart of Priory’ has been launched; with support from the children, parents and teachers, to tell the wider public about why Priory Infants is so well loved. The campaign was developed by local marketing agency Keystone Marketing, whose team worked, on a pro bono basis, with the school to develop the campaign name, brand and activity plan. Keystone Marketing chooses a worthwhile cause each year to give free marketing support to.
A heart shaped logo was created which is now appearing on all school communications. The 252 pupils at the school have also been asked to write or draw the things they love about the School and their Forest School adventures onto little hearts; now displayed in the hall for all to see.
Comments from the children, aged 4 – 7 included:
"The best learning place"
"Better than a birthday party"
"I want to live here!"
“I wish we could do it one million more times"
"It is the best. I love being outside and learning with my friends"
“We’ve been all the way to the Wild! It’s been a real adventure!”
"Thank you for my hot chocolate and my scrummy yummy popcorn!"
Speaking about the campaign, Mrs Angie Smith, School Head said: “At Priory Park Infant School and playgroup, every child matters and each of our students and staff is valued for the unique contribution he or she makes to our school and community. ‘The Heart of Priory’ campaign has given the children the opportunity to tell us what they love about Priory and given them more confidence to express their thoughts. We look forward to continuing the campaign when we return to school in September.”
Priory Park Infant School has a very active Parents and Friends fundraising group and is proud to have received recognition from the Forest School Association as one of only four in the country Forest School Providers. Priory Park Playgroup is also part of the wider Priory Park Infants School family.
