Fees & Funding

Fees

Fees for 2022-2023 are:

  • 2 year old place:  £5.35 per hour (Total Cost of a 3 hour session £16.05).
  • 3 year old place (from the term after their 3rd birthday):  £5.10 per hour (Total Cost of a 3 hour session £15.30)

When you accept a place at the Playgroup fees will be payable.   Fees are non-refundable.  This is because your child’s place is kept, even if they are unwell or away on holiday.      

Fees are payable in advance, in full on receipt of invoice or monthly payments (1st of Each Month) by BACS.

 

Non Payment of Fees

If there are any difficulties with paying fees, please speak to the Playgroup Manager or Administrator who, in confidence, will discuss and agree a payment plan.   Please see our Fees & Payment Policy.

 

Parents Wishing to Withdraw their Child

The Playgroup requires four weeks notice in writing for a Parent wishing to withdraw a child from the setting prior to the end of the school year.

 

Work Place Vouchers

We accept childcare vouchers from any supplier, which means you may be able to make substantial savings on your Playgroup Fees.   To find out more visit www.childcarevouchersdirect.co.uk or contact your employer.

 

Funding for Two Year Olds

We are able to accept children the term after a child’s 2nd birthday.  You may qualify for this funding (Free Childcare for 2 Year Olds).   To check your eligibility and apply for this funding go to:

If funding is awarded you will be entitled to 15 hours per week for 38 weeks of the year. You will be required to complete a Parental Contract and provide us with  your ‘Eligibility Code’.

 

Funding for Three & Four Year Olds

The term after a child’s 3rd birthday ALL children are entitled to 15 hours Universal Funding per week for 38 weeks of the year.   The Playgroup Office will notify you when your child become eligible for this Universal Funding.

 

30 Hour Extended Provision for Funding for Three & Four Year Olds

The Playgroup is registered to accept the extended provision the term after a child’s 3rd birthday.   If your child is eligible for the additional funding it entitles your child to their 15 hours Universal Funding plus 15 hours Extended Funding (30 hours Extended Provision).      Parents will be required to confirm eligibility, every three months for the additional funding to remain valid.  You can check your eligibility and apply at:

The Playgroup will require your Unique Reference Number in order to claim your additional hours.
