Learning Together With Care and Respect

At Priory Park Infant School, we teach the children our five key PRIORY values through stories, role play, assemblies and class discussions. 

Perseverance- we focus on this value to encourage the children to keep trying even when things are tricky!

Respect- all members of our school community deserve respect from one another and we learn that our actions have an impact on those around us. We celebrate and promote diversity through respect for one another. 

Independence- we encourage the children to be as independent as possible, developing their self-help skills and teaching the skills to be successful independent learners.

Opportunity- teaching this value means that children learn how to make choices in a safe and supportive environment, taking the opportunity to exercise their personal freedoms and take the opportunity to learn. 

Rules- as part of the school community, the children learn that we all need to follow rules in order to be safe and to thrive and enjoy school life. 

Your Voice- focuses on the importance of listening to everyone and taking into consideration the beliefs and opinions of those around us.
