As stated on page 12 “This Code of Practice provides statutory guidance on duties, policies and procedures relating to Part 3 of the Children and Families Act 2014 and associated regulations and applies to England. It relates to children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) and disabled children and young people.”

As a school we must have regard to what the Code says and we must use it when making decisions around SEND.

Our SEN and Inclusion Policy has been updated to reflect the reforms in the SEND Code of Practice 2015.
